Early Treatment

Starting treatment early can help teeth grow into their right places before permanent teeth have come into their final positions. Treatment for common orthodontic issues usually start around age 10 to 12 years when a child has lost all their baby teeth and gained most of their permanent ones. However, as every child’s development and growth are different, some children may require orthodontic attention at an early stage to help guide their permanent teeth in the right direction.

Early treatment can also help to correct bad habits such persistent thumb sucking, tongue thrusting and mouth breathing.
